What stood out? The best part of this campground is the little pathway to Pemiquid Beach. Otherwise, it is a basic campground.
Camp landscaping and surroundings: A little bit of trash around the grounds. Some old buildings are bordered up. Old cabins not being used are bordered too.
Campsite Descriptions: Some sites are larger than others; some are nicer than others. Dirt bottom, wooded sites. There are also large duplex cabins for rent in the front area.
Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly, cluttered, Some seasonals are neat, and some are cluttered.
Comments on restrooms and showers: I used the ladies room,
it was very clean, but the stall was out of toilet paper. It was only Thursday ![]()
pool, ocean, swimming,
What is nearby? Pemiquid Beach is very close. There is a pathway to the beach area. There is a $2 fee to utilize the beach, but I don't know if the path bypasses the fee booth at the beach entrance.
Last comments: We weren't very impressed with this campground, but that could have been just our first impression. There were some good points, like the pool area, nearby beach, some large sites. But the bordered up buildings sort of turned us off.
