Approx Dates of Stay: 7/3/03 - 7/5/04. Overall Campground Rating: very good. What stood out? The campground is geared more towards RV'ers, and being a tent camper, I was initially put off. But was there primarily for access to Mystic which was good. Owners and Staff: Friendly, helpful. Upon arrival my site was missing a picnic table, and the staff quickly delivered one and set it on site where I wanted it. Camp landscaping and surroundings: The campsites are sunny and very open, not private at all. But neighbors were friendly and helpful.
Overall Site Quality: very good. Good/Bad site #'s: don't remember specifics. All sites were level, but close together. Would be good for group camping. Campsite hookups: electric, water, Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, grassy bottom, picnic table, fire ring, As I was tenting, I didn't pay too much attention to the hookups. Seasonal Campers and Campsites: friendly campers
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. free showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? don't remember. Activities and Amenities: pool, video games, camp store, AM coffee, Camp store was well stocked with camping supplies. What is nearby? ocean or lake, amusements, Website had said the campsite was on the trolley line which was one of the reasons I booked there. However, on arrival, found out they'd lost their stop. They were hoping to get back on next year. If this is important, call ahead to find out. Access to Mystic attractions is easy by car, however.
