What stood out? good the campground is small everyone knows everybody. Bad thing is they all know your personal business to. Campground is clean a little run down but clean. Pools are always clean and sparkling but I heard someone say they leak. Bathrooms are clean most of the time its hard to keep up afterall.Needs updating signs/showers/typical things that wear down. Lots of kids riding thier bikes and dogs being walked.
Owners and Staff: owner he seems to not enforce all the rules only the ones at the time that feel important. Theres golf carts going up the main road at 7am before quiet time is over.Lots of people up late drinking while thier kids are all over the campground. The staff (his kids)are extremely helpful (edited by That's Camping admin) I believe the one who helped me park was Cory are great.
Camp landscaping and surroundings: has a beautiful field It would be nice to see it green.Landscaping has been done around by the office looks nice. Some of the sites could use some help but not sure if thats the owner or the seasonals that should be doing that or if there is allowance.
Campsite hookups: electric, water, cable, wifi Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, semi-private, close to the road, sandy bottom, picnic table, fire ring, group camping area. sites could use more electric they are old and outdated. Seasonal sites some are great some not so great. The back road by the woods some sites were cluttered.Lots of sites on hill slope
Cell Phone Service: cell phone service was great my wife has tmobile no problem I have verizon no problem there either
Seasonal Campers and Campsites: cluttered, friendly campers, too many seasonal sites. seasnal sites seemed way bigger then ours.some were a huge mess lots of toys and stuff and gazebos way to many. Other seasonal sites were very well maintained
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? yes. Coin-metered showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: need to have more showers and bigger trash cans in the bathrooms. Buildings themselves could use fresh paint
pool, swimming, recreation hall, video games, pool table, live entertainment, bingo, tv or movies, playground, kids planned activities, camp store, pets allowed, laundry room, dumping station, security gate. very small playground not big enough to handle all the kids. Seasonals kept an eye on the kids by yelling at them from thier sites. Yes I took offense to this my kids were afraid to play. The playground at the top of the campground is really out dated. Broken seesaw in the back.camp store is pretty well stocked for a small place found everything we needed.Didnt like when they had the adult hayride thought throwing cans out of the wagon was a bit much.dances were ok more like a party for the adults no organized dances for the kids.Food in the rec hall was a nice addition for breakfast but I was told they may not have it next year.Evening food in the rec hall was ok nothing wonderful though it would be nice to see a smile when I ordered like it was appreciated.
What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, nature trails.
