Overall Campground Rating: very good.
What stood out? salem farms has come along way since the skip days I havnt been there and was really not sure about going back. Seasonals are wonderful nice people. The only bad thing this weekend was there was some kind of family outing in the back and there were so many kids up late at night but the owner took care of that promptly
Owners and Staff: The new owners are very nice people and they truly want you to have the "family" experience. We were allowed to bring our dog,stay up late as long as we were quiet.
Camp landscaping and surroundings: Campground is clean and well maintained.
Overall Site Quality: very good
Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, wifi Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, private, large and spacious, picnic table, fire ring, group camping area.
Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly, friendly campers, most sites were clean and kept up the only problem I saw was there were a few with run down rooms built on the front of them others rooms looked great.
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. Coin-metered showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: older gentlemen maintained the restrooms right on schedle every day.
Activities and Amenities
pool, pond, swimming, fishing, recreation hall, video games, pool table, live entertainment, bingo, tv or movies, playground, theme weekends, kids planned activities, camp store, ice cream, AM coffee, snack bar, pets allowed, laundry room, dumping station, security gate. ice cream social was great considering it was about 95 degrees.Days like today there wasnt enough space in the pool for all the bodies both pools were packed but there is nothing you can do about that....
What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, ocean or lake, amusements, nature trails.
Last comments: overall this is a great campground seasonals make it alot more fun
