suzanne gave us this review on 07/05/06. Dates of Stay: 07/2006. Will You Return? Undecided. What did you camp in? Travel Trailer
Overall Campground Rating: very good.
What stood out? the best thing about the campground was the seasonal people they are all friendly and say hello all the time. The gentleman cooking breakfast was probably the nicest man I have met in a long time (breakfast was wonderful too) Its nice to go to a place where the campers are so accepting of us so called weekenders!
Owners and Staff: The owner Brian is a little rough around the edges (pretty intense for this kind of Public Relations)I saw him speeding through the campground on a golf cart chasing kids on bikes causing a more dangerous situation.I think he just needs to relax a little bit and enjoy his job. I found his daughter Melissa and his wife Teresa to be wonderful people. The store was stocked pretty well. The pools were maintained and the areas kept clean. As I said the only reason I may not return was the owner himself, seemed when he was upset he would lash out. Maybe it was the stress of the holiday weekend? We will proably try again on another regular weekend.
Camp landscaping and surroundings: Very clean and well maintained.Nice wooded sites Very friendly seasonals
Overall Site Quality: very good
Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, private, large and spacious, picnic table, fire ring, group camping area. The only thing I could think of that would be better is if they were raked prior to arrival
Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly, friendly campers, people here are fantastic
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. Coin-metered showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: no handicapped access
Activities and Amenities
pool, pond, swimming, recreation hall, video games, pool table, live entertainment, bingo, tv or movies, playground, kids planned activities, camp store, ice cream, AM coffee, snack bar, pets allowed, laundry room, security gate. horseshoe pits could use updating
What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, ocean or lake, nature trails.

We don’t chase kids on bikes. It may have seem that, but was actully an emergency in the park. We bought this park Nov. 2003 with it came lots of problems both structual and clients. Fall 2006 we decided to rid our park of problem areas. I’m looking forward to a GREAT 2007 season. It will be more relaxed and a lot less stress. Thank you for your complements. Try us again.

We just returned from a weekend at Salem Farms (fathers day) boy the place was packed.Much more relaxed now the way the campground should be. Again breakfast was great and a nice ammenity to have on check out day.The line was long and (Tom I think that was his name) did a great job getting breakfast together for our family of six.The only thing was same activites for the children as last year maybe mix it up a little with new stuff? We will be sure to be back.Posted by suzanne on 06/18/07
