Approx Dates of Stay: 07/31/04. Overall Campground Rating: very good. What stood out? Camp sites are private and wooded with tall trees. This campground has plenty to do, especially for children. Many seasonal and RV campers. Owners and Staff: Family owned and operated. I saw the owner, Brian, at least 15 times during a two day stay. His wife, son, and daughter make the campground welcoming for children and adults. Camp landscaping and surroundings: Campground has two pools, a game room, convenience store, petting zoo with goats, many sites are wooded, some open. Some sites overlook a small pond. Very quaint and private sites.
Overall Site Quality: excellent. Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, other gray water Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, private, semi-private, large and spacious, sandy bottom, grassy bottom, picnic table, fire ring, group camping area. Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly,
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. Coin-metered showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: all restrooms are centrally located. Owner has plans for improving restrooms over the off season. The owner takes much pride in the appearance of his campground and maintaining his facilities, and it shows!
Activities and Amenities: pool, pond, swimming, recreation hall, video games, pool table, live entertainment, bingo, tv or movies, playground, theme weekends, kids planned activities, camp store, snack bar, pets allowed, dumping station, security gate. What is nearby? We didn't venture from the campground Last comments: If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing vacation, visit this campground. You will not be disappointed!
