Larry gave us this review on 06/20/07. Dates of Stay: June 15-17, 2007. Will You Return? Yes. What did you camp in? Tent
What stood out? Nicely cut field for our group camp out. Very clean everywhere. Small requests honored immediately!
Owners and Staff: The owners are new and very friendly. I brought a large group (49 people) of cub scouts and parents and the owners were extremely accomodating and helpful as were their staff.
Camp landscaping and surroundings: We were in a grassy safari field. The lawn was cut short and was very clean, the grass was soft enough to walk barefoot thru it. The rest of the campground was under a canopy of Pine trees. Play ground and play field equally as clean and cared for.
Good sites: The sites under the pines look roomy and uncrowded. All look good. Bad sites: None that I noticed.
Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, sewer, wifi There was no water in the safari field. But was available a short walk away. Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, semi-private, large and spacious, sandy bottom, grassy bottom, pine needle bottom, picnic table, fire ring, highway noise, group camping area. We had 17 tents and they were easily accomodated in the group area as well as the cars were nearby making accesibility simple.
Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly, friendly campers, Very friendly seasonal campers. They were so friendly that they could put other campground seasonal campers to shame!
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. free showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: Showers were very clean. But hooks are needed to hang up clothes vs placing on bench. Stalls need hooks to close for more privacy. Otherwise they were spotless and very clean. Lots of hot water and water pressure. I never had to wait for a shower.
