Approx Dates of Stay: memorial day weekend 04. Overall Campground Rating: not good. What stood out? The sites were so small you had to leave camp to change your mind. Owners and Staff: You couldnt ask for friendlier people. Nice as could be! Camp landscaping and surroundings: Clean and neat
Overall Site Quality: not good. Good/Bad site #'s: Way to small even for my small pop up. Campsite hookups: electric, water. Campsite Descriptions: somewhat small, close to the road, picnic table, fire ring, Seasonal Campers and Campsites: Some were very well kept others looked abandoned. Seasonals were friendly.
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. Coin-metered showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: We asked them to fix the cold showers. They said they fixed them but they still didnt work the next day.
Activities and Amenities: fishing, boat rentals, video games, camp store, pets allowed, Dogs were kind of scary and I saw at least two dog fights. I'm glad no childern were near by. The pond access and canoes looked run down. Bring your own boat. What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, nature trails. Mystic Seaport, Wineries and the Casinos were within close range. Last comments: I wouldn't use it again. Its not fun to camp when someone is always looking over your shoulder
