David and Janice gave us this review on 07/22/03.
Approx Dates of Stay: 6/26/03 thru 6/28/03. Overall Campground Rating: not good. What stood out? Old campground with dated and deteriorating facilities, grounds, and playgrounds Owners and Staff: Friendly and courteous. Camp landscaping and surroundings: Heavily wooded, near outskirts of Quakertown, five minute drive to major retailer shopping plazas.
Overall Site Quality: fair-average. Good/Bad site #'s: #32-#43 in the middle, decent size, easily accessible. Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, sewer, cable, Campsite Descriptions: wooded, picnic table, fire ring, - tough to figure out what site parameters are, central hookups, sewer connections seem randomly placed with not thought. Seasonal Campers and Campsites: cluttered, Seemed about 25% downright sloppy, mostly neat though. Check out the motor home on site 95?, downright scary!!! New Hampshire plates and a can of WD40 in the windshield.
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? yes. free showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: Badly need updating. Activities and Amenities: pool, swimming, recreation hall, playground, camp store, laundry room, small pool, small store, small playground, all need major upgrades. What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, amusements, Dorney Park is about a half hour. Last comments: Classic case of the brochure is far better than the real thing.

Awful place to stay. Not a family campground at all. I couldn= sleep due to parties and all the fights. (Edited by That’s Camping Admin)
