What stood out? N/A - I have no information on the actual campground, since they messed up our reservation. They accepted our 2 day reservation (sending us confirmation, charging us and telling us the balance on the 2 day reservation they ACCEPTED), then telling us we needed to stay 3 days (which we were unable to do). When we advised we could not stay the 3 days, they said we had to cancel - no big deal, right? Well, then they tell us that since they screwed up our reservation/confirmation, we would need pay the $14.00 credit card processing fee. Now, is this the kind of establishment you want to deal with?
Owners and Staff: The staff is obviously incompetent, as I spoke to them via phone, after I made my reservations online and at no point did they tell me that I needed to stay 3 days. The owner is the most rude and un-professional person I have ever had the DISPLEASURE of dealing with. I am amazed that he actually runs a business - but as with most things, time will take care of that, as this is not the first negative reveiw out there (unfortunately, I did not look for them prior to booking his campground) - you live and learn, but word of mouth will ensure that no one I know and no one they know will EVER visit this campground.
