Rick C gave us this review on 06/21/07. Dates of Stay: May 25-28 2007. Will You Return? Yes. What did you camp in? Travel Trailer - Size of Camping Unit: 28'

Overall Campground Rating: very good.

What stood out? This place is huge. If you want to skip shopping you can buy a meal package. They are costly. I've always had a good time at this campground and we've always felt safe letting the kids off on their own. If you have little ones, they can be dropped off at Chippys fun house in thier pj's. The staff do arts and crafts and play movies while mom and dad get some quiet time. Or bring the kids to the staff show or a live band.

Owners and Staff: The staff shows are great. Otherwise we hardly ever saw them unless they were serving us ice cream or working the counter at the store or bar.

Camp landscaping and surroundings: Huge place. Great golf course.

Overall Site Quality: very good

Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, sewer, cable, wifi Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, private, picnic table; The water front rental trailers are awesome sites. Some of the tent sites are on the side of a hill. Your tent goes on a deck and the fire pit is off to the side. Dogs are not allowed at all sites.

Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly, friendly campers,

Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. free showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: New bath house on yellow road is nice.
