Overall Campground Rating: excellent.
What stood out? spacious tenting sites, clean facilities, friendly owners and staff
Owners and Staff: You'll see both pop-ups and tents at Pinederosa. All sites are very spacious. Some are wooded, some sites on the grass. The pool is large and clean. They are fairly strict about keeping things quiet after 11 pm, which is really good for families. Owners and staff are friendly and accommodating.
Camp landscaping and surroundings: The owners forbid the cutting of trees on campground property. The wooded and grassy areas are well-maintained. The campground is located on the west side of Rt. 1.
Overall Site Quality: excellent
Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, private, semi-private, large and spacious, close to the road, grassy bottom, pine needle bottom, picnic table, fire ring, highway noise, There is some highway noise, but it is minimal.
Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly, friendly campers,
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. Coin-metered showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes.
Activities and Amenities
pool, swimming, camp store, ice cream, AM coffee, pets allowed, laundry room, dumping station, security gate.
What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, ocean or lake, amusements, nature trails.
Last comments: I've been camping here for 6 years. Now that we've found it, we won't go anywhere else!
