Approx Dates of Stay: 08/19/04-08/23/04. Overall Campground Rating: very good. What stood out? Staff was very good and attentive to our needs. Frequent drive by's to enforce quiet hours. They allowed us to stay on the ground after check out to enjoy their facilities. Closest campground to walk to the downtown attractions. Owners and Staff: Very good Camp landscaping and surroundings: Large pond on site with paddle boats and fishing. Seasonal, W/E and primitive sites in good proportion. Heated pool with two hot tubs, playground, volleyball court.
Overall Site Quality: fair-average. Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, sewer, cable; Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, semi-private, somewhat small, close to the road, sandy bottom, picnic table, fire ring, Some sites in the "H" section are close together and most of the W/E waterfront sites are"cramped" Suggest campimg ther once for the experience and making site notes Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly, friendly campers, Typical
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. free showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes.
Activities and Amenities: pool, pond, ocean, swimming, boating, boat rentals, recreation hall, video games, playground, camp store, pets allowed, Game room is very small and limited. No planned kids activities. Owners need to enforce the adult only hot tub rule. A trolley to the downtown would be nice but understand it would probably increase camping rates. What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, ocean or lake, amusements, nature trails. Plenty of nearby attractions !! Amusement Parks, Movie Theaters, Restaurants, The Pier, Fireworks every Thursday night in the summer
