That's Camping Review: 1999 & 2000***Just an observation, we didn't stay here. They have 350 separate unnumbered sites in the "Black Forest" tenting area. Find a picnic table and fire ring and set up under the pines. The main area ("Tall Pines") has sites arranged in rows, a good section is along the side A33 to A63; in particular, we noticed A33 to A39. In general, some sites are dirty looking with bunches of unraked dead leaves on them, but others are fine with just pine needles. We did notice that it was very wooded, which also means very buggy. The seasonal campsites are well kept and orderly. The rec. room with video games is a little small, but the laundry room was large. There is a country store, a play area for kids and two pools (one looked a lot more crowded than the other.) They advertise that they are within 1 mile of the beach and there is a shuttle bus ($1 per person)to the pier. This place is not too glamorous, but there are so many sites, you probably don't need reservations on most weekends for those spur of the moment trips.~1999 & 2000
