Mike gave us this review on 10/24/08. Dates of Stay: 10-10-08 to 10-13-08. Will You Return? Yes. What did you camp in? Travel Trailer - Size of Camping Unit: 21'

Overall Campground Rating: excellent.

What stood out? Heated pool with hot tub, beach side grill and professionally done mini golf

Owners and Staff: Staff older,friendly and experienced

Camp landscaping and surroundings: Odetah is a well maintained/landscaped campground. Campground is very hilly but this adds to the character of the campground.

Overall Site Quality: excellent

Good sites: Most sites are decently sized as far as CT campgrounds go. Bad sites: Sites close to the entrance side. ( Highway noise )

Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, sewer, wifi Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, private, semi-private, large and spacious, grassy bottom, pine needle bottom, picnic table, fire ring, highway noise, group camping area.

Cell Phone Service: Verizon worked fine,Wifi worked fine

Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly, friendly campers,

Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. free showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Additional comments on restrooms and showers:

Activities and Amenities

pool, lake, swimming, fishing, boating, boat rentals, docks or moorings, recreation hall, video games, pool table, live entertainment, bingo, tv or movies, playground, theme weekends, kids planned activities, camp store, ice cream, AM coffee, snack bar, pets allowed, laundry room, dumping station, security gate.

What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, nature trails.

Last comments: Again the only two draw backs I can say about this campground is the highway noise on the entrance side of the campground and you have to keep your pets at your campsite

  1. I have stayed there myself several times.The review is right on.The place is great for kids.The noise is a problem at those sites but after all the things to do you are tired enough to just fall asleep.
