Ann gave us this review on 08/01/05. Approx Dates of Stay: June 2 and 3rd .

Overall Campground Rating: very good.

What stood out? The landscaping was beautiful

Owners and Staff: At first when we entered registration the women who waited on us kept picking up the phone at the same time waiting on us which was kind of rude. The staff member who guided us to our site was very nice , but very picky about not hitting the grass.

Camp landscaping and surroundings: Very big Oak and Maple Trees surround all the sites here on a hilly landscape

Overall Site Quality: fair-average

Good/Bad sites: Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, sewer, Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, somewhat small, grassy bottom, picnic table, fire ring, highway noise, You have to make sure you are not on the grass at this campground, the staff member made my husband move back and forth 20 times before he was happy we didn't bend 1 piece of grass.

Seasonal Campers and Campsites: cluttered, way too many seasonals here, 1/2 this campground looks like a over 55 Mobile Park

Clean restrooms and showers? no. Restrooms and showers need updating? yes. free showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Additional comments on restrooms and showers:

Activities and Amenities

pool, lake, swimming, fishing, boating, boat rentals, recreation hall, video games, live entertainment, playground, theme weekends, camp store, ice cream, snack bar, pets allowed, dumping station, security gate.

Last comments: If you get a site at the top of this hill side campground be prepared to drag yourself back after your activities since they are all at the bottom of the hill and it was quite the hike back to the campsite.
