What stood out? Adirondack mountain setting on the AuSable River, close to Lake Placid, Whiteface Mountain, and a public beach a short walk down the street.
Owners and Staff: On site owners very helpful and friendly. Work campers do a good job too.
Camp landscaping and surroundings: Mature trees and landscaping with very clear, restrictive, and protective policy toward natural environment.
Good/Bad sites: Mostly back in's at resort, large wooded and private pull thru's down the street at the 100 acre wood section. Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, sewer, cable, Campsite Descriptions: wooded, semi-private, sandy bottom, picnic table, fire ring,
Seasonal Campers and Campsites: Did not see any seasonal sites
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes.
pool, river, swimming, fishing, recreation hall, video games, pool table, tv or movies, playground, camp store, ice cream, AM coffee, pets allowed, laundry room, dumping station,
What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, ocean or lake, nature trails. Whiteface Mountain, Lake Placid, Olympic sites, and AuSable River are right here.
Last comments: Quaint and well run campground located high in the Adirondack Park. An absolutley terrific area for all ages to explore and enjoy.
