Niagara Falls KOA (Canadian side of falls)

Claudine gave us this review (04/2001):

Last summer our family and some friends of ours had stayed at the KOA on the Canadian side. I believe it was only a few miles away from the falls. It was very crowded and the sites were very small. However, it did have clean restrooms, a nice size playground and indoor/outdoor pool (very important to our family with two kids 6 and 8.) The campground provided a shuttle service to the falls for a fee, we used it several times and found it to be very convenient. We were able to purchase fresh fruits, veggies and some home baked goods from what I called "A farm stand on wheels." It drives by all the campsites ringing its bell like an ice cream truck. I believe it comes twice a day everyday. I thought this was so great, no need to go to the store to buy the groceries, they come right to your campsite. Very clever. My recommendations for taking showers are early in the morning before 8 or later in the evening after dinner or maybe before bedtime.
