What stood out? Everything about this campground is CLEAN!
Owners and Staff: Staff very friendly even during a busy weekend
Camp landscaping and surroundings: Nicely wooded, lots of flowers and neatly mowed grss
Good sites: Didn't really see a bad one. Depends on what type of setup you have Bad sites:
Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, sewer, cable, wiFi available in TV lounge Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, private, semi-private, large and spacious, picnic table, fire ring, Sites have gravel bottoms and are very level.
Cell Phone Service: Excellent Verizon service
Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly, Honestly can't tell who is seasonal and who isn't
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. free showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: Some sites are a longer walk than others.
pool, pond, swimming, fishing, recreation hall, video games, pool table, live entertainment, tv or movies, playground, theme weekends, kids planned activities, camp store, ice cream, AM coffee, snack bar, pets allowed, laundry room, dumping station, Store seemed well stocked. All buildings and property were very neat and clean.
What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, nature trails. West Point, Hyde Park, Vanderbuilt as well as wineries,farm stands,apple orchards They have tours to NYC from campground.
Last comments: We really enjoy it here. It is close to home but we feel we could be a million miles away.
