What stood out? Driving in with my husband and 2 small children from Maine and arrived early. Asked if we could check in early as check in time is a ridiculous 4PM! The staff member I was speaking with very nicely said she'd check when another very rude staff member said "NO! Check in is at 4PM!" I asked if we could use the pool until 4PM as it was a very hot day. I was told no. I asked the very nasty staff member if she expected my family and I to sit in the parking lot and look at the pool for four hours. She replied, "Check in is at 4pm!" When I explained that we were leaving early in the AM and would not have time to use all of the facilites, she literally said, "We don't care!" When I asked for my money back, Miss Sunshine attempted to give me a hard time, but then said "Just give her her money. Someone else wants that cabin anyway". I have never experienced such horrible customer service. This woman was on a major power trip. I think she thought she was a concierge at The Four Seasons!
Owners and Staff: Rude, arrogant, inflexible staff.
Camp landscaping and surroundings: Rotweiler running around loose. Game room closed. Tiny, crowded campground
Last comments: Try Burlinggame State Park - only 15 minutes away in RI. $20/night - huge, wooded, very nice
