What stood out? The first thing that stood out was the ownners. Mary and Gary were extremely nice. Next was our site. We were right on the river in a nice large site.
Owners and Staff: The owners and staff were the nicest I've ever met.
Camp landscaping and surroundings: Beautiful and definitely well kept.
Good sites: I didn't see many bad sites. I thought the river sites were the best though, especially 23, 18 & 11. Bad sites:
Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, sewer, wifi Campsite Descriptions: semi-private, grassy bottom, fire ring. This is a great place to camp if you want a friendly atmosphere and nice sites by a river. The campground caters to adults and I enjoyed the peace and quiet since we were not camping with our kids. I would definitely return again.
Cell Phone Service: Cell phone service worked great at this campground.
Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly, friendly campers,
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. free showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes.
river, fishing, pets allowed, laundry room; This campground doesn't have a pool, game room, etc., but is the perfect place to camp if you want a nice quiet site by the river with adults.
What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, ocean or lake, nature trails. This campground is conviently located to I-93 and I-91.
Last comments: Again, I can't say enough about the owners, Mary and Gary and the rest of the staff. They are the nicest group of people I've ever met while camping. I would definitely recommend this campground.
