NH Camper gave us this review on 07/04/05. Approx Dates of Stay: June 2005.
What stood out? Everything was great...the campground was clean. The sites were large and wooded.
Owners and Staff: The husband owner was very very nice. Driving around a lot checking to make sure everything was in order. The wife, who works in the office, was OK. When asked if they had a waiting list for any available weekends the rest of the summer she snapped back "I would have a list 5 miles long" So, I get it, they are popular and booked-Geez!
Camp landscaping and surroundings: Beautiful, 2 great beaches. Dock access if needed. There is an option to store you camper on their grounds, and they will have it parked and ready for you at your site at the time you arrive. This seemed very convenient.
Good/Bad sites: We had site 101, very nice. One of the only not seasonals in that area. Campsite hookups: electric, water, sewer, cable, Campsite Descriptions: wooded, private, picnic table, fire ring,
Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly, too many seasonal sites. while all the seasonals were very well kept, there are A LOT of them.
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. free showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: An exceptional place to stay. Call on 4/1 at 7am which is when they start booking for the season. Trust me, they book fast!!!!
