Approx Dates of Stay: 9/3/04 to 9/6/04. Overall Campground Rating: very good. What stood out? Fabulous view of Mascoma Lake and great boating made us happy. Campground store was open at irregular times. Actually had post-it notes they stuck on the door to say where they were Owners and Staff: Called to ask questions-they never called back. poorly stocked store for Labor Day weekend Camp landscaping and surroundings: Very neat for most part-limited transient sites, on the small side, but view overlooking lake was fabulous All hook-ups available, some friendly seasonal campers
Overall Site Quality: fair-average. Good/Bad site #'s: we were on site #7 Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, sewer, cable, Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, semi-private, close to the road, grassy bottom, pine needle bottom, picnic table, fire ring, Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly, friendly campers, too many seasonal sites. most were very nice
Clean restrooms and showers? no. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes.
That's Camping has been informed by the campground owners that since 2005, they have a new cleaning staff that are doing an excellent job.
Activities and Amenities: lake, fishing, boating, boat rentals, docks or moorings, recreation hall, pool table, bingo, playground, camp store, breakfast, ice cream social, and supper planned for the weekend-well-done and reasonable What is nearby? restaurants
