  1. I drove through Mascoma a few years ago.  Since I am a tent camper, I usually don’t care much for campgrounds that are rows of campers on grass.  They remind me too much of trailer parks.  Not that there’s anything wrong with that, It’s just not my choice of campground.

But even though you could describe Mascoma that way, I found, even with my brief drive through, that there was something different, more homey about this place, that I found really attractive.  The views over the lake are unbeatable, and the campground is tiered so that just about every site has one.  The lady in the campground store was as friendly as could be when I went in to ask if we could take a look around.

Thanks for reminding me of this place.  I remember the tent sites being wooded, which is how I like them.  My youngest son really wanted to stay there.  I think I’ll put on my list of possibilities.  The view of that lake keeps coming back to me….

  2. Wanted to let paul & jane how much we enjoyed our stay on Lot #28 for ten days. the view was unbelieveable. bathrooms spotless and people there just plain friendlly. Paul & Jane have something all people want,  the ability to be happy at their work, and enjoy helping people.
we look forward to be able to spend every season at their campground until old ages says enough..
It was a pleasure meeting new friends including paul & jane…keep doing what your doing…
