Overall Campground Rating: very good.

What stood out? Marham meadows is a very nice campground. Very laid back and friendly. It is country camping. Not much to do but relax. They have a nice lake for the kids to swim free boat rentals. It is a small campground and almost everytime we camp there we have the lake to ourselves. Nice little playground .

Owners and Staff: The owners are awesome. They mind there own business. They don't run around checking on what you are doing all the time. Mcbeth is the owners collie, she is the most beautiful dog who hangs out on the front porch. Very dog friendly and I have a huge 100 pound boy who barks when people pass by. Because it is so small I feel safe enough to let the kids go to the playground themselves. The seasonals are very good about keeping an eye on the children.

Camp landscaping and surroundings: Very peaceful landscape. Nice lake. The fish will come right up to you though in the lake so watch out because they will nibble your toes.

Overall Site Quality: very good

Good sites: I think all the sites are nice and large, The set up is good because all the sites are close to the main buildings. Bad sites:

Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, cable, Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, private, semi-private, large and spacious, sandy bottom, grassy bottom, picnic table, fire ring, If you have children go for the field sites. They are close to the bathrooms and the children could run around in the field and tree house.

Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly, friendly campers, There are seasonals along the lake who are very nice and stay on the porch and watch the children. A few seasonal sites in the back need updating.

Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? yes. Coin-metered showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? don't remember. Additional comments on restrooms and showers:

Activities and Amenities

pond, lake, swimming, fishing, boating, boat rentals, docks or moorings, recreation hall, video games, pool table, live entertainment, bingo, playground, theme weekends, kids planned activities, camp store, ice cream, AM coffee, snack bar, pets allowed, laundry room, dumping station,

What is nearby? restaurants, ocean or lake, nature trails.

Last comments: This is a perfect campground if you are a camper who likes to take a book and read by the lake all day. It is not commercialized campground like strawberry park or loan and oats. Where you have to be doing something every five minutes of the day and they pack you in. Don't get me wrong. Sometimes I like all that stuff but other times I jsut want to relaxe and enjoy my family.
