What stood out? Very clean sites, gorgeous brook sites. We have stayed here for the last three years over the 4th of July and the campground gets better and better; they are adding a larger store area now.
Owners and Staff: Very friendly, informative, and courteous, make you feel welcome.
Camp landscaping and surroundings: wooded, hard-packed dirt and good sized sites, some sites are by babbling brook and others in woods, but with good light.
Good sites: Any site on the brook! Bad sites: None
Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, sewer; Campsite Descriptions: wooded, private, semi-private, large and spacious, picnic table, fire ring, The brook sites are beautiful and keep your children occupied all day; sounds beautiful at night!
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. Coin-metered showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: Very clean!
pond, swimming, fishing, boat rentals, recreation hall, video games, playground, camp store, AM coffee, pets allowed, laundry room, dumping station, security gate. game room is adequately sized; the security gate gives piece of mind, the campstore has pretty much anything you could need and has a neat gift area.
What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, ocean or lake, amusements, nature trails. Clarks Trading Post and their famous bears, shops in Bartlett, kayaking on the river, N. Woodstock shops and restaurants.
