Approx Dates of Stay: 3 days x 3. Overall Campground Rating: excellent. What stood out? everything was great for family camping, FAMILY from pools to tubing on the schroon river, close to attraction centers. CLEAN Owners and Staff: very helpful and accomadating, store well stocked Camp landscaping and surroundings: EXCELLANT. as with almost anywhere you go, we were raising a guilding eye dog and not he's our's, Alot of people do not pick up after them, WHY? what is wrong with having a little concideration for the camp ground and other campers, PLEASE PICK IT UP!!
Overall Site Quality: very good. Good/Bad site #'s: old section is old what can u say, we hosted our club camp out here, in the new section and we are going bac this year as a group, very pleased Campsite hookups: electric, water, sewer, cable, Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, private, picnic table, We have had family come and rent a rental unit for a weeks stay to be with us, no complaints from our family to our club. Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. free showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: there staff is very attentive to the needs of the park and campers, as they are working campers also, (most)
Activities and Amenities: pool, river, swimming, fishing, boating, boat rentals, recreation hall, video games, live entertainment, tv or movies, playground, theme weekends, kids planned activities, camp store, ice cream, pets allowed, laundry room, dumping station, security gate. What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, ocean or lake, amusements, nature trails. the adirondacks of ny is the place to enjoy summer ALOT to do & see. Last comments: we plan to return again this year as many times as we can fit it in.
