jeeves gave us this review on 05/20/06. Approx Dates of Stay: August 2005. What did you camp in? Motor Home

Overall Campground Rating: excellent.

What stood out? The large sites. Trees between each site. On a beautiful lake. This was a very quiet park even on the weekend; there are mostly seasonal people here and they were quit welcoming to us weekenders. We were there to relax... it was wonderful. A unique place.

Owners and Staff: Thoughtful owners who walked the grounds in the evening to talk with people and ask if all was well.

Camp landscaping and surroundings: Located on a very clear lake, grounds are well kept, but natural. We had a large site for our 38' motorhome. Uncrowded. We plan to go back with a hammock and a golf club.

Overall Site Quality: excellent

Campsite hookups: electric, water, sewer, Campsite Descriptions: wooded, private, large and spacious, sandy bottom, pine needle bottom, picnic table, group camping area. There are different size sites.

Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly, friendly campers, Most of them were kept very nice and we enjoyed walking around to look at them. Not a lot of junk or stuff around.

Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? no. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: All visitors must have a self contained RV/MH. It is not set up for tents or pop ups. There are just 2 showers in the Clubhouse.

Activities and Amenities

lake, swimming, fishing, boating, docks or moorings, bingo, pets allowed, dumping station, security gate. This is a place you come to unwind.

What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, In the Lakes Region and close to the White Mountains. Near Wolfeboro which has shops and restaurants.

Last comments: Sunset on the dock and early evening was pretty close to heaven. We could hear loons, too.
