Camp landscaping and surroundings: The grass was cut, everything was neat and clean. Very nice.

Overall Site Quality: excellent

Good sites: All that I could see while walking around. But we were in the overflow/safari field, which was fine for a group of 32 boy scouts and adults. Bad sites: n/a

Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, sewer, cable, wifi Water and wifi available at safari field Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, large and spacious, somewhat small, close to the road, sandy bottom, grassy bottom, picnic table, fire ring, highway noise, group camping area. The highway was not far away and could be heard, but was never intrusive or annoying.

Cell Phone Service: Verizon wireless coverage for voice and data was excellent!

Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly, friendly campers, everyone was friendly

Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. free showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: 2 showers and 4 stalls near us, 6 showers and 6 or 8 stalls a 3 minute walk away.

Activities and Amenities

pool, pond, swimming, fishing, recreation hall, video games, pool table, live entertainment, tv or movies, playground, theme weekends, kids planned activities, camp store, ice cream, AM coffee, snack bar, pets allowed, laundry room, dumping station, security gate. Everything was great. There may have been bingo but I wasn't aware of it.

What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, ocean or lake, amusements, Historic sites, Mystic aquarium and seaport, tons of beaches, bike trails, hiking, wineries, casinos, you name it.
