That's Camping Review:1999. Basic average campground. Highway noise louder in certain areas. Great camp store. The rec. hall has planned activities along with various video and table games . It was a good place to cool off from the summer heat and have a soda or ice cream; there's plenty of seating. Large beach with good playground, but the lake water seemed a little murky. Sites seemed crowded together; some are large, while others are small and close to road. Sites 53 and 54 were open and grassy and next to playground/beach. Restaurants and grocery store about a 15-minute drive. Security gate with keypad access. Showers were unsatisfactory: Hot water turned to ice when anyone flushed! Bathrooms need updating, but adequate. ~1999
