Approx Dates of Stay: 4. Overall Campground Rating: horrible. What stood out? The showers in one section were push putton and went off in 5 seconds, you had to hold the button and wash with your other hand. The other shower was a coin operated machine that was much better. I have never had to pay for showers before this one. Owners and Staff: The campground was just ok. I was put on a site that went uphill and had to put boards under my wheels which was ok. The owner Mr. Horton was a jerk. Yelling at his staff and even his patrons. When I arrived I asked a simple question about my son which was ariving on the 27th, if he could be put next to me his reply was we only do one day at a time here. Mr. Horton should consider selling this property to a more business like person. Camp landscaping and surroundings: If Mr. Horton thinks he has a resort here he is very mistaken. (JUST FAIR)
Overall Site Quality: fair-average. Campsite hookups: electric, water, sewer, Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, somewhat small, close to the road, picnic table, highway noise, Seasonal Campers and Campsites: cluttered, friendly campers, The roads need attention full of ruts.
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? yes. Coin-metered showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? no. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: REST ROOMS HAVE NO SOAP AND PAPER TOWELS.
Activities and Amenities: ocean, swimming, playground, camp store, laundry room, dumping station, security gate. Very poor stocked campstore, No planed activity anywhere in camp sites. What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, ocean or lake, nature trails. Last comments: I have sent complaints to the Chamber of commerce in Truro, and the chamber of commerce at cape cod. and will send complaint to the better business in cape cod.
