Michele Bizzario gave us this review on 06/29/06. Approx Dates of Stay: 6/3/06 - 6/5/06. What did you camp in? Travel Trailer

Overall Campground Rating: fair-average.

What stood out? Upon checking in the staff was unfriendly. Most sites were nice and large. Some with trees for shade. Nice grassy safari field. A lot of highway noise.

Owners and Staff: Again, the owners/staff were not friendly. I felt like I was bothering them when asking questions.

Camp landscaping and surroundings: Large grassy sites, pretty campground.

Overall Site Quality: very good

Good/Bad sites: I didn't notice too many bad sites. Campsite hookups: electric, water, sewer, cable, Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, large and spacious, grassy bottom, picnic table, fire ring, highway noise, We had no water when we hooked up to our site. I called the office and they didn't know why. I asked if it could be because of the construction going on at the site in front of us. It turns out that the site in front of us had a water leak so they turned off the main water so they could work on it. We were without water for hours and the next day we lost cable for a while. After stating this to owners/staff we didn't even get an apology. This is a pretty campground but I would be reluctant to go back based on the unfriendly attitudes which are not typical at most campgrounds.

Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly.

Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. free showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes.

Activities and Amenities

pool, pond, swimming, playground, camp store, pets allowed, laundry room, security gate.

What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, ocean or lake, nature trails.

Last comments: I was reluctant to write a negative review based on one experience but a friend of my mine stated at this campground too and had the same experience.
