This campground is only 45 minutes from our home, but it remains our favorite. I love the large sites and the “openess” of the campground. Its great for walking and biking and, of course, sunbathing and swimming in the summer. When our kids were little our favorite after dinner activity was “bunny hunting” ( and counting hw many we actually can spot) since there are lots of bunnies there. Its just a fun place to camp.Posted by Lenore Kalotai on 10/27/06We uase this campground when visiting my wife’s grandmother. Great place - we love the beach and nature center, and we like the nice open grassy sites. The campground layout is such that you can walk to the beach from any site.
