What stood out? tight wooded lots but also a beautiful open park type beach area.
Owners and Staff: Very very nice, heplful and friendly.
Camp landscaping and surroundings: We were on lot 1 loop A. The lots are very wooded and very shady and private. Because of being so shaded they do not dry out quickly after a heavy rain.
Campsite hookups: electric, Campsite Descriptions: wooded, private, somewhat small, picnic table, fire ring,
Cell Phone Service: Our cell phones from Canada worked only half the time.
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? yes. free showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? don't remember. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: The restrooms are old and could be updated. Over all they are very clean (we were there during rainy days and the floors could use to be mopped up because they were covered with muddy wet and this made the floors slippery).
lake, swimming, recreation hall, playground, kids planned activities, camp store, ice cream, AM coffee, snack bar, pets allowed, laundry room, dumping station, security gate. Beautiful open areas along the beach area. Very will maintained. One item that should be fixed are the ruts/holes in the road around the camping loops. For all the people walking and bike riding here these holes should be filled to avoid a accident.
What is nearby? ocean or lake, nature trails. nearest grocery store was about a 10 minute drive away. Shopping over 30 minutes away.
Last comments: A great place to bring a bike, the park is very large and riding is the best way to get around.
