Overall Campground Rating: fair-average.
What stood out? Nice wooded, shaded sites. Nice size pool. Kids could use paddle boats and kayaks on lake. Friendly seasonal campers.
BAD - when I made my reservation, I was told I had to pay 1 nights deposit of $36.00. Which was fine. When I got there, I was told I owed $56.00. When asked why, they said because I had 2 kids with me. So it was $5.00 a night per child. I was NEVER told that on the phone. I was NEVER asked how many people would be camping, etc. Thank goodness I had enough money..what if I came there with exactly what I owed and some money to get food, gas, etc.???
BAD - the bathrooms were disgusting. My kids would not go in there to shower or go to the bathroom. And when I went in to go to the bathroom, I could believe how small the stall was. My knees were hitting the wall.
Owners and Staff: Met 2 women in front office. One was nice, the other was not friendly at all. Seemed that if you were a renter, they wanted nothing to do with you. When I stopped in the office to ask something, she actually stopped talking to me to talk to someone else and ignored me.

Overall Site Quality: very good

Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, sewer, cable, Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, large and spacious, close to the road, grassy bottom, picnic table, fire ring
Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly, friendly campers
Clean restrooms and showers? no. Restrooms and showers need updating? yes. free showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes.
Activities and Amenities
