Overall Campground Rating: excellent.
What stood out? SO MUCH TO DO! There are shows, ice cream parlor, THE BEST CAMP STORE. THEY HAVE EVERYTHING!!! There is a deli / snack bar that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have souveniers and camp supplies.
Owners and Staff: Very attentive.
Camp landscaping and surroundings: From the time you check in at the guard house, you know you are there for something special.There are horses & a Wild West Show THe place is huge. There is boating, swimming, a dog park area and Assateague Island is close by!
Overall Site Quality: excellent
Good sites: ANY! Bad sites: Can't imagine there are any!
Campsite hookups: electric, water, cable, Campsite Descriptions: wooded, semi-private, large and spacious, picnic table, fire ring, I didn't like the fact that there was no sewer hook up on site. Only a dump station.
Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly, friendly campers,
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. free showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? don't remember. Additional comments on restrooms and showers:

What is nearby? restaurants, retail stores, ocean or lake, amusements, went to Assateague Crab House (just up the road!)there is OCean City Boardwalk just over the bridge.
Last comments: Great place. I can't wait to go back. My dogs had so much room on our campsite and they made me very proud of them. (they are used to space and don't do well when cooped up!)

Their sister campground, Fort Whaley, is very nice as well. You get the same benefits of Frontier Town, but you get bigger sites and it is a quieter campground. We have camped there for the past three years and cannot wait to go back in two weeks!!
Posted by wersilly on 07/15/08Been to Frontiertown four times, our family favorite. This is easily one of the best rv parks for a family, plenty to do and see. Make reservations at least a year in advance, they take week long reservations two years in advance.
