Approx Dates of Stay: sept 03. Overall Campground Rating: horrible. What stood out? the campground is nice, the owners are rude beyond rude Owners and Staff: camped off season with 4 other couples, all 40 something. we are not children tho that's how they treat you. constant harrassment about noise...we were sitting around a fire talking and no one else was even near us. no music, just talking...their website claimed $5 visitor fee but charged a friend of ours $15, because "we don't want visitors" how friendly Camp landscaping and surroundings: wooded and open sites, very little privacy
Overall Site Quality: fair-average. Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, sewer, Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, close to the road, sandy bottom, grassy bottom, picnic table, fire ring; Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly, cluttered;
Clean restrooms and showers? no. Restrooms and showers need updating? yes. free showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: filthy
Activities and Amenities: pool, river, swimming, fishing, recreation hall, video games, camp store, dumping station, security gate. all extras are closed after labor day What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, amusements, nature trails. Last comments: never in my 39 years of camping has an owner treated people so poorly. too bad, because it's a great campground
