Approx Dates of Stay: 7/10/03 thru 7/12/03. Overall Campground Rating: excellent. What stood out? Very scenic campground with terrific pools, great mini golf, large well stocked camp store, clean grounds, and friendly seasonals. Owners and Staff: Friendly, accommodating, helpful staff. Facilities and grounds staff helped me change a bad rv tire, they insisted on helping me. Camp landscaping and surroundings: High on Eagles Peak Road, this is really a trek to get to, driver who tows this road will remember it forever, as it is steep. Campground is a mix of woodlands and open grassy meadow areas.

Overall Site Quality: very good. Good/Bad site #'s: Tent sites in the meadows area have the best views, site 166 is tent. Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, sewer, cable. Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, private, semi-private, large and spacious, somewhat small, close to the road, grassy bottom, picnic table, fire ring - Meadows area full sun, bird named roads are wooded and hilly, 7 thru 97 area seasonals, and 302 thru 315 are at the bottom of Eagles Peak, large and private, seasonals are mixed in everywhere. Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly, friendly campers.

Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. free showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: Separate shower rooms from bathroom. Activities and Amenities: pool, pond, swimming, fishing, recreation hall, video games, pool table, live entertainment, bingo, tv or movies, playground, theme weekends, kids planned activities, camp store, ice cream, pets allowed, laundry room, dumping station, security gate. Great family pool, nice store, What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, amusements, nature trails. Its about fifteen or twenty minutes drive to any major routes. Last comments: We really liked Eagles Peak and would return again.
