What stood out? Good: Very neat campground, sites large and shaded, large facilities, most sites quiet. Bad: Highway noise from US 15 in low-numbered sites
Owners and Staff: Very friendly and helpful
Camp landscaping and surroundings: Shaded sites with fish pond, pool, and other amenities
Good/Bad sites: Bad: For tent trailers, low-numbered sites are very noisy (busy highway close by). High numbered sites are OK. Campsite hookups: electric, water, sewer, cable, Campsite Descriptions: wooded, highway noise, Highway noise in low-numbered sites only.
Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly, Very few seasonals My guess is that most were employees.
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. free showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? don't remember. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: Self-contained motor home, so use of restrooms limited, but were clean and modern.
pool, pond, swimming, fishing, recreation hall, playground, kids planned activities, camp store, ice cream, snack bar, pets allowed, laundry room, dumping station, Did not use facilities that much, since we were touring Battlefield.
What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, Town of Gettysburg within 5-6 miles, with full tourist facilities and National Battlefield
Last comments: Very nice well-maintained campground. As noted above, the only drawback is highway noise in sites 1-70. Motor home campers should have no problem with this, however.
