That's Camping Review: (6/01) New owners at Dixon's in 2001. A very nice campground, but the only real downfall we found is that there is no pool. The owners told us they plan on adding a pool and hopefully more electric sites. Possibly also adding sewer to sites as well.

On the whole, sites are large and spacious, some are secluded or on the side of a rock or hill. Some notable sites include #s B, L, K, J, H, F, O, P; also, 4, 7, 31, 49, 51, 55, 59, 70, 78, 83, 84, 87. Most are no hookups. There are also good group sites like #8 & 9, #66-68, #56-58. Some of the sites towards the front may have a bit of highway noise, but if that doesn't bother you, then there should be no problem.

There is good restroom access, a campstore with AM coffee, camping supplies, & groceries. Also a playground, dumping station, gate key security. Clean bathrooms and showers. It is not a "resort" kind of campground, just a great place for quiet, natural camping. They also offer sea kayaking packages. Close to restaurants, grocery, ocean beaches. ~ June, 2001
