Approx Dates of Stay: 9/27-9/30. Overall Campground Rating: excellent. What stood out? Overall, very comfortable, clean and well thought out. Large sites, lake and pool. Great store. Owners and Staff: Owners are the same as King Pine Ski Area. A family orientated business. Friendly & efficient. Camp landscaping and surroundings: Grassy pull through sites, pavilion dancing & entertainment, activities staff, Movie room.
Overall Site Quality: excellent. Good/Bad site #'s: All the Merrymeeting Lakeside sites are beautiful. Campsite hookups: electric, water, sewer. Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, large and spacious, sandy bottom, picnic table, fire ring, group camping area. Obvious that a lot of thought went into making this the most beautiful campground we've been to in a long time. Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly.
Comments on restrooms and showers: All have benches & hooks. Kept very clean. No slamming doors!
Activities and Amenities: It really has everything you need including fun fall activities. "William Tell Archery"! What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, ocean or lake, nature trails. Located on Ossipee Lake, 15 miles to N. Conway Outlet Shopping, Foliage Beautiful, not many restaurants close by. Last comments: You really should see this place. Especially in the fall. They have winter camping too. Located on the NH State Snowmobile Trail.
