Matt & Melody Aquaro gave us this review on 09/24/08. Dates of Stay: 8/23-8/29/08 &9/19-9/21/08. Will You Return? Yes. What did you camp in? Travel Trailer - Size of Camping Unit: 34'

Overall Campground Rating: excellent.

What stood out? Good:the size of the sites, all are larger than most. Bad: nothing bad stood out.

Owners and Staff: Extremely helpful and pleasant.

Camp landscaping and surroundings: very neat and organized.

Overall Site Quality: excellent

Good sites: All Bad sites: not sure of the #'s, only a couple not bad just didn't like the layout( seasonal sites) or the way the trailer was positioned on it. Not that it was a bad site, just not to my liking.

Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, sewer, cable, not sure about wifi h/u Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, private, semi-private, large and spacious, picnic table, fire ring, group camping area. larger than most we've stayed on yet still private.

Cell Phone Service: I have Sprint/nextel and did not have a cell signal, however, my nextel did work. My wifes phone did have a signal and we have the same carrier. I am not overly happy with the cell service itself I don't think it has anything to do with the campground.

Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly, friendly campers, most of campers I met (seasonal) had been there for a while and where very happy with mgmnt.

Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. Coin-metered showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: staff constantly checking & cleaning.

Activities and Amenities

pool, pond, river, swimming, fishing, boating, boat rentals, docks or moorings, recreation hall, video games, bingo, tv or movies, playground, theme weekends, kids planned activities, camp store, ice cream, AM coffee, pets allowed, laundry room, dumping station, security gate. Absolutely the nicest place we have stayed. PLENTY to do for the kids, which between neices/nephews and ours range from 4-15 y.o.

What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, ocean or lake, amusements, nature trails. centrally located yet not right next to a busy, loud, highway.

Last comments: If you haven't been here yet its worth putting on your list of "places to make reservatons" I wish I lived closer so I could commute to work from there.
