Bobby gave us this review on 12/10/02.

Approx Dates of Stay: 8/28/02. Overall Campground Rating: horrible. What stood out? locks on all bathrooms, adult only dances. Owners and Staff: campground staffing very small, not friendly. Camp landscaping and surroundings: clean but very little landscaping.

Overall Site Quality: terrible. Good/Bad site #'s: all were cramped. Campsite hookups: electric, water. Campsite Descriptions: wooded, somewhat small, close to the road, picnic table, fire ring. Tiny site, barely fit our tent, couldnt possibly find a way to avoid the roots. Seasonal Campers and Campsites: cluttered.

Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? yes. metered showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: you need to leave a $5 deposit for a key to the rest room!

Activities and Amenities: pool, pond, swimming, recreation hall, video games, pool table, live entertainment, bingo, playground, kids planned activities, camp store, ice cream, AM coffee, snack bar, pets allowed. Pool had lifeguard which is the only plus, it was unheated and small and had limited hours. Closed at 6pm in the middle of summer. The brochure says live bands/dj etc. What they dont tell you is they are sometimes for adults only. Adult and kids bingo are quite a distance from each other. Don't believe the brochure. Been camping 10 years have never left a campground early. This time we did we left saturday instead of sunday. Just wanted to get out. Talked to other campers who were equally disappointed. Screaming people were allowed to disturb everybody. There is no security and you're basically on your own. Never been so disappointed. What is nearby? restaurants. Last comments: bathrooms locked. Never heard such a thing at a campground.
