Approx Dates of Stay: 5-23-03 to 5-26-03. Overall Campground Rating: very good. What stood out? It all what a campground should be, large, private wooded sites, quiet, beautiful lake, clean and peaceful. Great place for families. Nothing bad about it at all. Owners and Staff: Very friendly and there for you. Camp landscaping and surroundings: Not real fancy, but just very woodsy and serene.
Overall Site Quality: very good. Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water. Campsite Descriptions: wooded, semi-private, large and spacious, pine needle bottom, picnic table, fire ring, group camping area. The sites on the lake are just beautiful, but some seem to fit just tents and pop ups.
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. free showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Activities and Amenities: lake, swimming, fishing, boating, boat rentals, docks or moorings, recreation hall, video games, pool table, tv or movies, playground, camp store, laundry room, dumping station. The store had everything, especially since they had just opened for the season and the staff in the store were very friendly. The arcade and Rec room were very clean and had plenty to offer for adults and children. What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, ocean or lake. Last comments: Lets just say that it rained all three days/night and we still had a great time. It's what I look for in a campground and just so peaceful.
