Overall Campground Rating: excellent.

What stood out? Large wooded sites, with excellent privacy, makes you feel like you ARE camping. Very friendly & courtious owners/staff. Campground is about 75/25% seasonal to daily campers. Quiet and well maintained. Great little lake and very nice beach. Only downside, campground is a little pricey but offers big discount pre/post summer.

Owners and Staff: Friendly and helpful, keeps the campground quiet at night and kids well behaved. With the beach, there are tons of young children but most are very well behaved.

Camp landscaping and surroundings: Wooded lots, nice privacy between sites. dirt roads can be a little challenging for large rigs with some tight turns.

Overall Site Quality: excellent

Good sites: Don't remember.

Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, sewer, cable. Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, private, large and spacious, highway noise; Some highway noise for sites close to the entrance.

Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly, friendly campers.

Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. Coin-metered showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes.

Activities and Amenities

lake, swimming, docks or moorings, video games, playground, camp store, ice cream, pets allowed, laundry room, dumping station, security gate.

What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, ocean or lake, amusements, nature trails.

Last comments: If you like to camp in a more natural environment, Clearwater is great. We camp there every year, at least twice and take advantage of the low site fees, before Mem. Day & after labor Day. $24.00 full hookup
