Approx Dates of Stay: Just went to view on 8/9/03. Overall Campground Rating: fair-average. What stood out? It does look like it has a nice Beach Area and I'm sure the Bathrooms are kept very clean. Owners and Staff: We just walked into the office to get some information on the campground and be able to view the some sites and except for one boy working there, everyone else in that office was very rude and just not friendly. The owner was yelling at two boys who were just in the store to buy some goodies. I made sure my two children stayed right beside me the whole time because I thought she might start yelling at them too for no reason, You could tell everyone bothered her. When we finally could start looking at sites (and by the experience in the office/store we had NO intentions of ever booking there) we were then followed by a older man in a golf cart who worked there, asking us what we were doing there and also being very quick and rude to us, by now my husband had seen enough. Camp landscaping and surroundings: The campground itself looks alright and is kept up just okay. We thought that the sites looked very hilly and crowded. Last comments: We stayed here many years ago and always remembered how beautiful and friendly it was and today we were so disappointed and know that's one campground we won't stay at. When I first get those bad feelings when I walk into a office I know it's not for us.
