Overall rating for facility: Good. Overall rating for campsites: Not Good. Site Comments: Nice tent sites along the pond. On the whole, sites were very small and difficult to back a travel trailer into. Seasonals in the campground were spread out and orderly. The restrooms and showers (metered) were clean, but need updating.
They seemed to have a lot of activities going on for the kids. The staff was very pleasant. Heavily wooded surroundings. The pond looked shallow and weedy. They could use some upkeep of the campground itself. Other nearby: About 14 miles to North Conway and all that area has to offer outlets, great food, StoryLand, Valley railroad.
Last comments: My husband and I felt the campground had some good points. They have a beautiful boardwalk and great hiking trails. They also have some rustic cabins quite a way from campground on pond with a private beach and boat. They had a wonderful rustic feel to them which we liked. When we arrived 2 other people had a real tough time getting into their site with their trailers. Our trailer is only 20 feet and it was a challenge. When we were leaving a man was complaining that his wife was in shower and the water went out on her. They said they were working on the lines. Maybe less is sometimes better. If the sites weren't so crowded and they campground was more organized I feel it would be great. I don't know if I would attempt going there again. I would probably tent there and not bring the trailer.
