Approx Dates of Stay: Columbus Day weekend 2004. Overall Campground Rating: excellent. What stood out? The first minute we met Priscilla at check in we felt as though we had come home for the holidays. She greeted both adults and kids with the a welcoming smile and a cheerful disposition. Mike helped us (we were two famlies, seperate campers)find our sites and gave us a heads up when making tight corners, he also helped us back in. The sites were clean,nice width to them, firepits with grills were a plus. Bathrooms were well maintained, plenty of hot water. Owners and Staff: Everyone we came in contact with was extremly pleasant, helpful and obviously enjoyed working there. That alone usually speaks volumes about the owners. Camp landscaping and surroundings: Wooded with plenty of views of the water. They have a great hiking trail system on the grounds.
Overall Site Quality: excellent. Campsite hookups: electric, water, sewer, Campsite Descriptions: wooded, large and spacious, picnic table, fire ring, highway noise, Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly, friendly campers.
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. Coin-metered showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes.
Activities and Amenities: pond, river, swimming, fishing, boating, boat rentals, recreation hall, tv or movies, camp store, laundry room, dumping station, security gate. small beach area. What is nearby? nature trails. Short drive to Conway,North Conway and the White Mountains
