Seneca Falls, New York -

Jackie gave us this review on 05/09/09. Dates of Stay: August 2007. Will You Return? Yes. What did you camp in? Tent

Overall Campground Rating: excellent.

What stood out? Great Place to camp. Neat and Clean, great for kids, great playground. Restrooms/Showers close to most sites. Great price. Great towns very close by.

Owners and Staff: No problems. Nice staff

Camp landscaping and surroundings: Nice and fairly open (which I like because I have young children). Nice beach area, great playground area for kids.

Overall Site Quality: very good

Good sites: My site was close to restrooms which I wanted as I have young kids. Bad sites: n/a

Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric; Campsite Descriptions: wooded, semi-private; I enjoyed this campground. I like to camp but I also like to be close to towns. Seneca Falls was 5 minutes away, Waterloo Outlet Mall was 5 minutes away. The Finger Lakes Wineries all around. It was great. Nice, friendly, and beautiful area.

Seasonal Campers and Campsites: friendly campers,

Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. free showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: My site was very close to the restrooms and playground (great when you have kids) I'm sure childless folk may prefer other sites farther away from the playground/washrooms.

Activities and Amenities

lake, swimming, boating, AM coffee; There was a store about 2 minute drive out of the camp where I got a cup of coffee every morning. I just jumped into my car, half asleep, grabbed a coffee and was back at the site 2 minutes later where I enjoyed a morning coffee at the campsite. (good coffee too. Seneca Falls is very close by (5 minite drive, tops)which had a Walmart, McDonalds, Dunkin Donut etc etc. Grocery Store, banks all in the area. Nice downtown area for a nice lunch. Also Waterloo outlet Mall was 5-10 minutes away if you want to shop. Cayuga Lake kept my young son happy with the camping stuff and kept my teenage daughter happy with the Outlet Mall shopping. I enjoyed the Wineries. So, all in all, everyone was happy and had a great time.

What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, ocean or lake, nature trails.
