Approx Dates of Stay: july 2004. Overall Campground Rating: horrible. What stood out? Absolutely Rude and Unprofessional Owners Owners and Staff: Unprofessional, unorganized, hateful and rude

Overall Site Quality: fair-average. Good/Bad site #'s: Don't be anywhere near an Rv site, as they are the preferred guests and the owners make no bones about letting that fact be known. If you have children or dogs then there are no good sites in this campground because the owners don't like either. Campsite Descriptions: We had both a group site as well as 2 normal sites. Normal sites are extremely small and cramped , group sites are much more spacious and open. The group sites are also close to the office and if you are given one of those rest assured that the owners will monitor your every move as will everyone else as the sites are in the circle where the bathrooms are. People walking and driving beside your tent all night.

Seasonal Campers and Campsites: snobby seasonal campers, We were there about 10 minutes before the elderly couple beside us said that the kids were peeling bark and that our dog was too loud. The kids hadn't left my site for a second and the dog barked once for about 30 seconds...literally.

Clean restrooms and showers? no. Restrooms and showers need updating? yes. Coin-metered showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: My 7 year old boy asked if he could please use the ladies room because the mens room smelled bad. As well the paper towel dipenser was broken so the towel roll was above the dispenser well out of any childs reach. The ladies room was just plain out of paper towels the 2 days I was there and the toilet paper was out a couple of times as well.

Activities and Amenities: lake, fishing, boating, boat rentals, docks or moorings, camp store. If you are looking for a family or even customer oriented establishment KEEP LOOKING Casey's is neither. AM Coffee is $1.00 per cup but the attitude you get when purchasing it is free. What is nearby? ocean or lake

Last comments: I was hoping for a relaxing weekend with my family. Myself my 4 children , and approximately 10 other family members. Instead my stay started with a conversation with one of the owners that went something like this "So how many children? " 4 , "And how many Adults?" 1 , "So They're aren't 2 adults??" Umm, no my husband passed away this winter this is our first camping trip without him. "Well You Better Make Sure Your Children Are Kept Under Control This Weekend!" I nicely replied that my children are always kept under control and proceeded thru the rest of the check in. The stay only got worse from there. PLEASE if you have children find another campground even if they are perfect angels these owners will have you marked from the second you arrive.
